There are multiple ways to travel around
The biggest was the around trip on the highway 1 loop through all capital cities, often done by people dragging a caravan
Or in a mobile home but I found the best way was to drive a car passing the caravans mid morning and staying at caravan parks
if there was hire beds available else at a motel or hotel or at worse case sleep in the car.
The first was the southern loop from

Margaret River Wineries and great surf beaches south of Bunbury.
Kalgoolie Has gold mines and girls in windows a must visit place.

Kununara iron ore mine fly in/out camp and very deep hole .
